Your profile

As Marketing Associate at Dogpatch Labs, you will play an integral role in developing and executing our marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and growth within our tech-focused ecosystem. Reporting to a Senior Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to create captivating content that aligns with our brand and marketing strategies across multiple brands (Dogpatch Labs, NDRC, HBAN,Founders, 2050 Accelerator and Patch).


You’ll work in a wider marketing team of highly motivated and skilled marketing professionals, in areas of Marketing strategy, Digital Marketing, Social Marketing, online Marketing and PR. You’ll also get the opportunity to work with and learn from regional hub partners all across Ireland, creating marketing assets together for far-reaching impact.


Key Responsibilities


Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to gain insights into industry trends and consumer preference that can inform campaign strategies.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the brand audience demographics, psychographics, preferences, and behaviours.

  • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for audience segmentation and targeting.


Content Development:

  • Craft targeted messaging (copy) for digital marketing (email, websites, blogs), social media and press releases, ensuring alignment with brand voices and value propositions.

  • Collaborate with multimedia team to develop compelling visual assets that align to messaging. 

  • Implement SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.

  • Daily/weekly and monthly newsletters curation and management ensuring our people and wider community are up to date on the ecosystem, our partners and our startups.


Campaign Management:

  • Developing and managing organic marketing campaigns across social channels e.g X, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

  • Developing and managing digital advertising campaigns across e.g Google Ads, Reddit, Meta and LinkedIn.

  • Developing and managing PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Managing relationships with our PR partner company to nurture media outlets and influencers, creating and distributing press releases, monitoring media coverage, and managing crisis communications if necessary. 

  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics using company metrics tool and channel embedded analytics to track campaign progress and suggest data-driven recommendations.


Industry Awareness:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing (email, websites, blogs), social media and press.

  • Attend conferences, webinars, and industry events to network and gain insights into the latest marketing strategies.


Strategy:

  • Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to meet cross functional department goals. 

  • Work with senior marketing team members to define campaign objectives and key performance indicators.

  • Identify and recommend strategic partnerships with other tech organisations, influencers, and ecosystem leaders to enhance Dogpatch Labs' online presence.


What We Look For

  • 2+ Years Marketing Experience

  • A strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate ideas to various stakeholders. This also includes being able to write clear and compelling copy, deliver engaging presentations, and confidently conduct interviews for diverse marketing assets. 

  • A professional command of English, verbal and written.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Desire to be an active and engaged company member who can proactively collaborate with cross department teams. Actively contributes ideas and suggestions during brainstorming sessions and shows a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

  • A flexible mindset and can easily adjust to changing priorities, timelines, and project requirements. Resilient, desire to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Persistence in completing tasks and overcoming obstacles with strong project management skills and attention to detail. Takes ownership of tasks and proactively seeks solutions to ensure successful and timely delivery of campaigns.

  • Possesses a natural curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and improve in your own experience. Keeps up to date with industry trends, new marketing techniques, and emerging technologies, and actively seeks opportunities for professional development.

  • Demonstrates empathy, inclusiveness, and a passion for storytelling. Strives to create content that resonates with and speaks to target audiences, while considering diverse perspectives and cultural sensitivities.


Terms

  • 1 Year Fixed Term contract of employment

  • The role is a full-time, on site role based at our offices in the CHQ Building, Custom House Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland.
